Master Hand Was Playable in Melee All Along…

July 02nd, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

It just took seven years and a series of convoluted instructions to do it.

From the unofficial Smash Bros. wiki:

“Place the cursor of player three’s controller over the name field on the character select screen. On this controller, press A and B simultaneously. Release A, but hold onto B. Scroll down to the “Name Entry” button. If you press A again at the same moment that the game attempts to go back to the menu because of the B button, the game will skip to the Stage Selection screen. Select the stage. If it loads properly, the game has not frozen and you will have performed Method One of the Name Entry glitch with sucess.”

I don’t know how we didn’t figure it out sooner.

Capcom QCF+Ps 20% Off The Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom FightStick

July 02nd, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

If you’re planning on stepping out of the fighting game bush leagues, the first thing you’ll need is an arcade stick to hone your skills on. If you’re planning on stepping out of the Wii fighting game bush leagues, you’ll need some thick skin to not let the deriding comments from the fighting game elitists get to you.

I can’t help you with the latter, but Capcom can help you get started on the stick thing. The Capcom store is taking 20% off the MadCatz Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom FightStick. At $63.95, it’s still not the cheapest price at which you can get the stick (Amazon has it for $54.99), but they do ship internationally (Amazon doesn’t).

The FightStick is similar to MadCats’ Standard Edition sticks on the 360/PS3, meaning that it lacks the fancy Sanwa Denshi stick and buttons found in the Tournament Edition and comes in a much smaller form.

Still, it makes for a great starter stick, and you could always swap out the stick and buttons for ones that fit your preferences if you decide you like the case.

Kirby’s Epic Yarn Comes To Life

July 02nd, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

I’d really like to elaborate more on this, but the deviantARTist who made this, StevieD33, hit the nail on the head.

“It had to be done sometime.”

Here’s a video of yarn Kirby coming together.
