An Early Look At Video Chatting in Pokémon Black & White
The recently announced “Live Caster” video chatting mode for Pokémon Black and White was demonstrated on a Japanese TV program, and as you can see, it’s not working too well.
Aside from the feed of the person using the DSi, video of the other chatters are really choppy. It could just be an issue of the feature still being in its early stages, but it does make me worry about how good 2-person Wi-Fi chatting will be if it’s already struggling with local wireless.
Game Freak still has a couple of months before the came launches, so there’s still time for them to work out the kinks and polish things. Let’s hope that they actually do so.

Japan’s Okamiden collector’s edition bundle is the most adorable thing ever. Just look at the little Chibiterasu keychain plush. It’s the cutest successor to a Sun goddess you’ll ever find!
And if things couldn’t get any more teeth-rottingly sweet, the special set comes with a pair of Chibiterasu earbuds with little paw prints on them! Even the coldest of hearts would thaw in the presence of something so darling.
The bundle comes in a collectible box and includes a soundtrack CD, DVD, Celestial brush stylus (if ordered through Capcom’s online store), illustrated storybook… and a copy of Okamiden, naturally.
The bundle hasn’t been confirmed for North America, but if the Capcom-Unity guys are reading, bring this thing over!

Starting this week, K-Mart will start plucking consumer reviews from MyKmart.com and posting them on store shelves. The move is most likely being done to earn extra sales off of glowing recommendations for games like Red Dead Redemption and many others.
It’s incredibly unlikely that K-Mart would choose scathing reviews with very little in the way of constructive criticism, but Kotaku does bring up a good point concerning bogus reviews submitted by developers and publishers.
It wouldn’t be very hard for someone involved with a game to write up a user review praising the title in an attempt to get it posted on the store shelves.
K-Mart has a nice idea in theory, but in practice, there’s plenty of room for abuse.
