Sonic, He Can Really Move! Sonic, He’s Got Diabetes Type 2~!
Lots of videos today, huh?
I’ve actually been sitting on this clip for a while now. Saving it for a weekend or something, but I never got around to it. With Comic-Con wrapping well into this weekend, I won’t be able to post it then, either. So, here it is! Sonic 2XL, a hacked version of Sonic 2 that makes Sonic fatter and fatter with each ring he touches. Grab too many rings and Sonic gets so portly that he can no longer move… and presumably die of a heart attack or diabetes or something.
I suppose it could be loosely interpreted as a social commentary on obesity in America, but I just like it because morbidly obese Sonic looks hilarious. He definitely has to wash himself with a rag on a stick.

This should be the last trailer for the once-anticipated Arc Rise Fantasia. The game actually looks pretty decent — character designs by Eureka 7‘s Kenichi Yoshida, music by Yasunori Mitsuda, one of Chrono Trigger‘s composers — but it’s a shame that it had to get such a low-quality dub.
It’s sad to see a fanbase get so excited about being able to turn off voices for a game.
It’s worth mentioning that there are reports saying that some stores have received their copies of ARF and are selling them early. It’s recommended that you call your local stores ahead of time, if you are planning on picking up the game. Lest you waste your time.
No commentsMore Cosmetic Differences Between Pokémon Black & White
This video from Japanese TV program Pokémon Sunday show off the new features announced for the upcoming Black and White versions.
As it turns out, Black City and White Forest, the version-exclusive locations that had some people worried about, are nothing more than texture swaps of each other. There are other minor differences like stairs and whatnot, but it looks like the locations are essentially the same.
We also get a look at the new rivals you’ll undoubtedly run into multiple times over the course of your journey. Unlike previous versions, it appears that you will have multiple rivals. However, like previous versions, Cheren (blue jacket) and Belle (orange vest) are childhood friends of the player and their starting pokémon will be based on your choice.
The other two characters introduced are Makomo, a saccharine-looking friend of Professor Araragi, and N, a mysterious trainer looking to separate Pokémon and humans.
