eShop Thursdays: “Eggstravaganza” Edition

Easter Eggs

I have to confess: I love the word “Eggstravaganza.” It’s just so charmingly corny.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Post-Release Patch Removes Europe/North America Online Region Lock

February 28th, 2013 | Category: Uncategorized

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U GamePad

European and North American monster hunters rejoice! Capcom has announced that they are working on a patch for the Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate that will allow European and North American players to hunt together online.

The game came under fire earlier this month when it was revealed that players from different regions would not be able to play with each other online.

In addition to cross-region play, the patch also adds the ability to play the game solely on the Wii U GamePad.

Capcom plans to support the game with weekly DLC in the form of free online quests. The full release schedule will be released as the game gets closer to launch.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate comes out on March 19 in North America and March 22 in Europe.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag appears to leave Colonial America to move to a more nautical setting with a new pirate-looking protagonist. With Ubisoft talking about ending the Desmond arc with Assassin’s Creed III, it leaves questions as to who exactly is under the hood this time.
