Pokémon Battle Trozei Gameplay Trailer

February 28th, 2014 | Category: Uncategorized

The latest trailer for Pokémon Battle Trozei, the downloadable-only sequel to Pokémon Trozei on the DS, shows off more gameplay footage.

The game is fairly straightforward – match three or more tiles on the bottom screen to attack and capture wild pokémon on the top screen. Over the course of the battle, the wild pokémon will fight back, dealing damage to your Trozei Box’s energy. If this energy runs out the game ends.

You’ll be able to get even more pokémon through StreetPass. By setting your favorite pokémon and passing another person with Pokémon Battle Trozei, you can exchange data and receive new pokémon that will become your allies.

Pokémon Battle Trozei comes out only in the eShop on March 20.

The shut down will have little effect on the Wii U and 3DS, except when using the systems to play Wii and DS games. Other online services, like the Wii Shop Channel, DSi Shop and vide0-on-demand will not be affected.

Wii U Passes 360 in Lifetime Sales in Japan

February 26th, 2014 | Category: Uncategorized

Wii U Console Black

Nintendo can now say the Wii U isn’t the worst selling console currently on the market in Japan.

Figures from Media Create show that the console has recently surpassed the Xbox 360 in lifetime-to-date sales, with 1,643,095 Wii Us sold in the region. That’s just a little more than 1,500 units more than the 360.

Famitsu’s numbers are a bit higher, with a reported 1,647,620 Wii U’s sold. If we go off their figures, the Wii U passed the 360 in LTD sales weeks ago.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Gets A Special Edition 3DS XL in Japan

February 25th, 2014 | Category: Uncategorized

Theatrhythm Curtain Call 3DS XL

I have to believe the Japanese 3DS market is just entirely comprised of Monster Hunter and special edition 3DS models at this point.

Joining the massive tower of different 3DS units is the special edition 3DS XL for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, which launches alongside the game itself on April 24 in Japan.
