Paris Games Week is an annual expo held at the Paris expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. Nintendo has taken part in the event in previous years, but they have announced they will not be attending this year’s show, which is set to take place from October 27 to October 31.

“Each year, Nintendo looks for the best means and the best times to allow its fans to have access to its games,” reads a company statement to Jeuxvideo.com. This year, Nintendo has decided not to participate in the Paris Games Week, because it does not fit into the [company’s] annual plan. We wish all the participants and a very nice event organizers.”

Even though there has been no mention of it, internet speculation is already seeing this as a move by Nintendo to prepare for the official unveiling of their next system, codenamed “NX.”

Dragon Ball Fusions doesn’t come out in English until later this year, but the Japanese release, which has been out since last August, recently received an update that adds the Space-Time Radar stage, along with online battles and rankings.

The new stage uses Wi-Fi signals to create tears in space and time that open up encounters with rare characters and offer chances to recruit them onto your team.

The online mode is fairly straightforward – you take your team and battle others online, while working your way up the national rankings.

Dragon Ball Fusions comes out for the 3DS on December 13 in North America and this February in Europe.
