Nintendo hopes to address the complaints towards the Wii U’s sluggish menus when they release two system updates in spring and summer.
Company president Satoru Iwata specifically mentioned the two updates would focus on getting Wii U software to launch faster and cut down on the time it takes to get back to the Wii U menu.
That’s not the only big update Nintendo has in store. Following the spring update, they plan to add support for the Wii U’s Virtual Console.
