Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate players in different territories won’t be able to play with each other online on their Wii Us, according to a Gamereactor interview with series producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto.
The decision to region lock the servers was confirmed in the Capcom-Unity forums by Capcom’s Associate Online and Community Specialist Yuri Araujo.
Araujo told fans that he’s aware of the community’s feelings and that he would do what he can.
I’m not thrilled with the servers being split either… I am definitely aware of the demand and feedback, not only in this thread, but also from threads before finding out these bad news; so be sure that I will pass it along.
There is no guarantee this will change though. =/”
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is dated for March 19 in North America and March 22 in Europe.
