Capcom is lowering their fiscal fourth quarter forecast from ¥8.5 billion to ¥2 billion partially because of intentional delays to many of their highly-anticipated titles. Super Street Fighter IV, Lost Planet 2, Dead Rising 2, and the international release of Monster Hunter Tri have all been pushed back into April, the start of the 2011 fiscal year, to avoid competition from the glut of titles coming in from various companies during the first three months of 2010.

It’s a bit of a bummer to hear that Tri has been delayed, but it makes sense that Capcom doesn’t want their games to be overlooked, especially since the Monster Hunter name doesn’t have the clout it has in Japan.
