It’s a bit weird seeing the decade end. Can you believe this decade saw the birth of the GBA, DS, Gamecube and Wii, the whole “Hot Coffee” ordeal, the rise (and slow oversaturated fall) of the plastic instrument music game, Phantasy Star Online and the death of any possibility of Mega Man 1-3 ever taking place in reality (bye 200X)?

The gaming industry has grown tremendously in this time. The Wii brought gaming to the mainstream, be it for better or for worse. Casual versus Hardcore is now the big debate and may grow with the addition of Natal and Sony’s wand.

Needless to say, 2010 on will certainly have it’s fair share of controversy and unexpected successes. I for one, can’t wait to see what’s in store for us.
