“King of Kong” Star Reclaims Donkey Kong Junior World Record

The star of the 2007 documentary The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, Steve Wiebe, has taken back the Donkey Kong Junior world record, according to gaming stat authority site Twin Galaxies.
The previous record holder, Mark Kiehl of Oklahoma, edged out Wiebe’s old score last fall, but the Washington resident managed to get his title back by posting a high score of 1,190,400.
Kudos to you on your accomplishment, Mr. Wiebe! Maybe now you can try to take back the Donkey Kong world record from Billy “Hot Sauce Jesus” Mitchell.
