GamesRadar has confirmed that Epic Mickey 2 is being designed and built around the Wii.

Warren Spector and Junction Point Studios will be handling the development on the Wii version, while Blitz Games (Glover, Fuzion Frenzy) will work on porting the game to the PS3 and 360.

Having another studio handle porting duties is a bit of a cause for concern, as ports have had a very shaky history. Sometimes you get something good, like the God of War Collection from Bluepoint Games, and sometimes you get an inferior mess, like Nex Entertainment’s PS3 port of Bayonetta.

Let’s just hope that Blitz’s port falls into the former category.
