Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux Coming to the West

June 07th, 2017 | Category: Uncategorized

The next entry in the Etrian Odyssey series, along with the enhanced ports of the DS classics Radiant Historia and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey are all coming to the Americas, Atlus confirmed today.

Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth will be the first of the trio of 3DS RPGs to arrive in the West, launching this fall. Like previous Etrian adventures, players will create parties and attempt to manually chart their way through a giant labyrinth filled with treasure, traps and dangerous F.O.E.s. The game introduces 10 new classes, each with their own skill tree and set of class promotions.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is an updated retelling of the story of Stocke, the time-travelling special operative for the nation of Alistel. In addition to updating the character art, adding voiced dialog and including five new music tracks, there will be a new timeline to explore and a new character named Nemesia. Perfect Chronology launches in early 2018.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux builds upon the original 2010 release by adding new story content, a new character and a new dungeon. Like Radiant Historia, it will be out in early 2018.

All three games will be priced at $39.99 each. Etrian Odyssey V and Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology will feature English dubs, while Strange Journey Redux will retain the original Japanese voices.
