Ghostlight Submits Devil Survivor Overclocked Patch to Nintendo
The European release of Devil Survivor Overclocked is one step closer to being fixed. Publisher Ghostlight has submitted a patch to Nintendo.
There’s currently no release date set for the patch, as it first depends on Nintendo’s approval. On the bright side, Ghostlight says they haven’t found any new issues with the game.

No commentsScript Changes in the European Version of Fire Emblem Awakening
It’s not uncommon to see game scripts and content toned down for North American audiences. References to things of a sexual nature no matter how light are often edited to something more innocent, but in an odd twist, it’s the European script for Fire Emblem Awakening that’s the one to cut out the suggestive stuff.
In the European version of the game, a conversation about breasts between the characters Tharja and Nowi instead goes into a discussion about… hair.
It will be interesting to see what other changes have been made to the game in its trip over to Europe.

Nintendo came out strong with the latest Nintendo Directs. We have info on a new Yoshi’s Island and Zelda 3DS game, confirmation on the Animal Crossing 3DS XL for North America and Europe, the Wii U Spring update and EarthBound on the North American Virtual Console.
Iwata could have just announced that last bit and it would have been an amazing presentation, but he just kept on piling on the good news.

No commentsBugs Plague European Release of Devil Survivor Overclocked
Even with the delays, the European release of Devil Survivor Overclocked managed to ship with a couple of game-breaking bugs that weren’t present in the Japanese or North American releases.
Users report that the game hangs when they attempt to summon demons during battle and freezes when they encounter an auction house seller who lies about stats.
Publisher Ghostlight Games have acknowledged the issues and are looking for a fix.
In the meantime, they advise players to let the game continue to run for three to five minutes if they come across the demon summoning bug. Apparently, the game will resume after a set amount of time.
As for the auction house issue, they simply recommend saving right before entering.
When asked about whether they plan to release a fix via patch or a re-release, a representative for Ghostlight said, “We’re still investigating our options around patching it and will let you know more as soon as we are able.”
