GameStop is incentivizing choosing to pre-order Monster Hunter Generations from them by offering a free 3DS Home Menu theme based on the game.
Complete with art of Generations‘ Fated Four Monsters, plus custom sounds, music and folder icons, the free theme will be available for both online and in-store orders. The only difference is that online orders will receive their download code a couple of days after their orders ship, rather than the day of, as with in-store purchases.

A recent photo of a display in a New York GameStop suggests that the retailer will be giving away a set of six non-amiibo trading cards with pre-orders of Kirby: Planet Robobot.
The offer is currently not showing up on GameStop.com and the company has not yet made an official announcement. If you are planning on picking up the bonus, you may want to check with your local GameStop first.

GameStop.com is now taking pre-orders for the new line of Kirby amiibo, which launch alongside Kirby: Planet Robobot for the 3DS on June 10.
Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede and Waddle Dee are each priced at $12.99. When tapped into the 3DS game, the figures unlock a different copy ability and a costume based on the character’s amiibo. However, the Kirby amiibo works a little bit differently and unlocks the figure-exclusive UFO ability.

The winner of that tournament will win a trophy and a Champion’s Robe, presumably similar to the one won by Larry Holland at San Diego Comic-Con.

It’s sort of a lame duck period for the 3DS right now. With the announcement of the New 3DS, Nintendo has made it so there isn’t much of a reason to pick up a current 3DS/3DS XL.
Regardless, the company announced four new limited edition 3DS XLs that will launch in North America over the course of the next few months.
After that, on October 10, a NES-styled 3DS XL will launch exclusively at GameStop.
Also coming exclusively to GameStop is the Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth 3DS XL. It will come out on November 25. Like the Super Smash Bros. XL, it will not come with a copy of the game.No comments
