Trucy and Edgeworth Return in Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies
Phoenix Wright’s “daughter” Trucy and childhood friend/rival Miles Edgeworth are coming back for Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, the fifth mainline entry in the series.
Both characters’ were revealed, along with their new looks, in the latest issue of Famitsu. Trucy doesn’t appear to have changed much since her appearance in Ace Attorney 4. Edgeworth, on the other hand, shows his age by sporting a new, longer coat and a pair of glasses.
Capcom also put out a new trailer for the game, but it focuses more on Phoenix and the new prosecutor Jin Yūgami.

The latest trailer for Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project mirai 2 shows off the new touch screen controls.
Unlike the original, players can tap and swipe along with the beat. The note charts have also been changed in the sequel. Instead of just having circles, notes now appear along paths, allowing for double notes and a less cluttered screen.
Three songs have been announced for the game: “Koneko no Paya Paya” by One Cup P, “Do Re Mi Fa Rondo” by 40m P and “Yume Yume” by Deco*27.
Project mirai 2 is due out in Japan this fall.

View Phoenix’s 2D to 3D Transition in the Latest Ace Attorney 5 Trailer
Capcom has released a new trailer for Ace Attorney 5 showing Phoenix’s glorious return as the main character.
While Phoenix is supposed to be the star of this trailer, what really stands out is how great the facial expressions and animations are for all the characters in the transition to 3D models.
Ace Attorney 5 is set to come out on July 25 in Japan. Releases have been confirmed for North America and Europe, but no dates have been announced.

Nintendo Discusses Character Progression in Fire Emblem: Awakening
The latest Fire Emblem: Awakening trailer covers unit basics like weapon proficiencies, leveling up and class promotions.
Fire Emblem veterans probably won’t find many of the things mentioned to be very useful, but the new bit on unit skills, passive abilities that boost stats or grant special actions in the field, may get battle-hardened tacticians’ thinking about how to level their units already.
Fire Emblem: Awakening isn’t supposed to come out until February 4 across North America, but EB Games Canada is selling copies early.

Level-5 released a new trailer for what may be Professor Layton’s final adventure, Professor Layton and the Azaran Legacies.
It pretty much contains everything you’d expect from a Layton trailer: Animated cutscenes, pointing and clicking, conversations and, of course, puzzles.
Professor Layton and the Azaran Legacies comes out for the 3DS on February 28 in Japan.
Pokémon Trailer Teases January 8 Announcement
Something Pokémon-related will be announced on January 8, according to a tease in the latest Japanese trailer for Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
There are no details as to what will be announced, but developer Game Freak did mention in their New Year’s card that they plan to evolve the world of Pokémon in 2013.

Publisher Pony Canyon have released the first trailer for the anime adaptation of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, which is set to air in April.
Persona 4: The Animation director Seiji Kishi will be serving as director. Bridge, the studio who handled the anime adaptation of Mitsudomoe, will be animating the series.
New details on the anime have been added to the official site, including the canon name for the protagonist – Hibiki Kuze.

Nintendo has released a trailer showing Dead or Alive‘s Kasumi getting her blade dirty in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge.
The deadly kunoichi will be a free downloadable character, though Team Ninja hasn’t said when she’ll be available.
However, you can download Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword‘s Momiji, who was recently added earlier this week.
Both characters will only be playable in the Ninja Trials and Chapter Challenge modes.
