This Week in Games: Living in Sin With A Safety Pin Edition
If you told me a few years ago that Treasure would be making a sequel to Sin & Punishment and that it would see a Western release, I honestly don’t think I could stop myself from laughing at the thought of such nonsense. I would also probably laugh at you for thinking of something so stupid. I mean, a company like Treasure, who was notorious for not making sequels to their games, dipping back into the S&P well and sending it overseas? Crazy talk.
Well, after a few twists and turns (and a couple of other Treasure sequels), the almost-impossible game is actually here.

This Week in Games: Infidelity Edition
The Wii gets a new game starring a “sex addict,” and the DS gets a compilation of four difficult GBA games.

Tetris Party Deluxe, the upgraded retail port of the WiiWare-only Tetris Party, heads to both the DS and Wii this week. Other than that, there are no real standout titles this week.

Obviously the big release this week is Mario Galaxy 2. Needless to say, it sucks to be any of the other games coming out this week. No one will care about them.
No commentsThis Week in Games: DSiWare Edition
The DSi Shop is the star of this week’s releases. One of my favorite games from my childhood, Earthworm Jim, gets a downloadable port, and the camera-based Photo Dojo makes its debut tomorrow morning.
Just a reminder about Photo Dojo: The game will be free until June 11. After that, the price will go up to 200 DSi points. So even if you aren’t all that interested in the game, it wouldn’t hurt to download it.

May’s here and that means that Mario Galaxy 2 is rapidly approaching. Picross 3D is coming out this week to help make that wait seem just a little bit shorter.
If you’re not into picross, then you’re just out of luck unless you like movie games or minigame compilations.

Yeah, I know this is extremely old, even in internet time, and its complexity has been surpassed by multi-track auto Mario videos; however, it’s still fun to watch the one that, for many of us, left us with our jaws on the floor.
No commentsThis Week in Games: FIFA Edition
A slim selection this week. If you’re not a fan of soccer games, then you’re pretty much out of luck as FIFA World Cup South Africa is the only standout game coming out.
No commentsThis Week in Games: Monster Slaughtering Edition
This week, thousands of monsters will be killed in the name of fashion and weaponsmithing.
No commentsThis Week In Games: Monster Hunter’s Next Week
It’s another bare week on the shelves this week. In a rare spectacle, the Wii has zero games shipping out to retail, leaving the Virtual Console and WiiWare to pick up the slack.
There’s no real standout title among the DS selection this week. In fact, I question if most of these games are even coming out. I swear that I’ve had Shepherd’s Crossing 2 appear on this list for a couple of weeks now.
