Super Smash Bros. Director Explains Why The Ice Climbers Aren’t in the 3DS/Wii U Versions

Category: Uncategorized

Ice Climbers

In his bi-weekly article in Famitsu, Super Smash Bros. series director Masahiro Sakurai revealed that there were plans to have the Ice Climbers return for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

The development team got the duo to run in the Wii U version, but ran into technical problems when trying to bring them to the 3DS.

In combination with the fact that Popo and Nana haven’t exactly been relevant – they haven’t starred in a game since the original Ice Climber from 1985 – they weren’t considered as high a priority as other characters, ultimately leading to the two being dropped entirely.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Exploit Allows Any Image to Be Posted on Miiverse

Category: Uncategorized

Miiverse Exploit Reggie

3DS users have found a way use a non-updated copy of Mario & Luigi: Dream Team to post screenshots of anything they want on Miiverse, including images from the 3DS Internet Browser.

Needless to say, there’s been a flood of not safe for work content rolling into the Dream Team community page. Most of it has already been taken down by Nintendo’s moderators and screenshot posting has been disabled until further notice.

Nintendo hasn’t issued an official statement on the exploit or plans on how to deal with it.

I can’t be the only one still bothered by the fact that the “Theater” part of the word “Theatrhythm” doesn’t have the second “E,” right?

Also coming exclusively to GameStop is the Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth 3DS XL. It will come out on November 25. Like the Super Smash Bros. XL, it will not come with a copy of the game.
