Sonic creator and Prope founder Yuji Naka has a new game in the works called Machinist of the Sky Rodea.

The above picture from the latest Famitsu features three of the game’s characters: Ion on the left, Princess Cecilia in the middle and Rodea on the right.

Like Prope’s previous game Ivy the Kiwi?, Rodea will have a console version and a portable version. However, the portable version in this case is the 3DS.

It’s unknown how the 3DS version will play or how it will take advantage of the fancy new hardware, but we do know that the Wii version will be controlled with only the Wii remote. Moving is accomplished by simply pointing the remote at the screen. The A button fires Rodea’s weapon and the B button makes Rodea move faster (shaking the remote also does this).
