Day 4- A Big Day on the Island!

The big moment finally arrived today: Blathers opened the museum! 🦉✨ Stepping inside those grand doors for the first time felt incredible. Right now, it’s looking a little sparse with dedicated wings for Fossils, Fish, and Bugs just waiting to be filled. I haven’t spotted any art exhibits yet – guess those mysterious paintings will come later! Time to get busy donating.

Started the day right with some morning stretches alongside my villagers! There’s something so peaceful about greeting the sunrise together. ☀️

Tool Upgrade Success! ⚒️ My trusty (but flimsy) shovel finally got a much-needed upgrade. After smacking rocks all morning, I collected enough iron nuggets, stones, clay, and bells to craft a sturdy Regular Shovel! No more breaking every five seconds. Even better? I gathered materials to craft a Regular Fishing Rod and a Regular Net too! Goodbye, flimsy tools – hello, efficiency!

First Dodo Adventure! ✈️ I summoned my courage and booked my first flight via Dodo Airlines! The mystery island was lush and full of possibilities. I spent time fishing in unfamiliar waters and, most excitingly, collected coconuts! I brought those precious palms back home to plant on my own beaches – tropical vibes incoming! I also met Carrie, the sweetest kangaroo, and invited her to move to Serene Sub! Fingers crossed she says yes!

Beachcombing Bonanza: Back home, who did I find washed up? Gulliver, of course! 🐦‍⬛ For the umpteenth time, I scoured the beach for his communication parts, got him talking again, and sent him on his way. What is it with that guy and shipwrecks?

Spooky Encounter! 👻 As dusk fell, I met my first Wisp! The little ghost was so scattered! They tasked me with a mini-quest to find all their spirit pieces floating around the island. A slightly eerie but fun way to end the day.

BIG FINANCIAL NEWS! 🎉 I PAID OFF MY HOME LOAN! 🎉 That first 98,000 Bell debt is GONE! Tom Nook can wait a little while longer for the next upgrade. For now, I’m basking in the glorious feeling of being DEBT-FREE… even if it’s just for a day! 💰🙌

Phew! The island life grind is real, but days like this make it all worth it. So much progress! I wonder what tomorrow will bring? Stay tuned for the next chapter in the Serene Sub Diaries!
