No, seriously. What is that?

It’s the new ad for Kirby Air Ride, and instead of a boring voiceover telling us why we should care, Nintendo decided to bless (or curse) our ears with a full-blown, utterly unhinged rap track.

This is either the cringiest thing they’ve ever done or a masterpiece that instantly belongs in the hall of fame next to the legendary DK Rap from Donkey Kong 64. There is no in-between. I’m still trying to decide which side I’m on, but my jaw is on the floor either way.

Just imagine this thing popping up in the middle of primetime TV. Your favorite dramatic show cuts to black on a huge cliffhanger, and then… BOOM. A pink puffball spitting bars about hovering on a star. It’s the chaotic energy we all need.

As for the game, Kirby Air Ride is still on track to warp onto the Switch 2 on November 20, 2025. You can also get an early taste during the Global Test Ride this weekend, featuring Lessons, Air Ride, and the legendary City Trial mode.
