Nintendo has just announced a last-minute Direct presentation dedicated entirely to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, and it’s airing this coming Monday, 9th March 2026.
In other words, dust off your overalls and polish your Lumas—because this is likely the final, fancy way of dropping one last trailer before the film hits theaters.
With the release date sitting less than a month away (at the time of writing), this feels like the big marketing push before the finish line. While we’ll probably still get a blitz of TV spots in the final week, this Direct is likely where we’ll see the most substantial footage yet.
When to Watch
Mark your calendars. Here is exactly when the gravity shifts:
- North America: 2pm PDT / 3pm MDT / 4pm CDT / 5pm EDT
- UK/Ireland: 9pm GMT
- Europe: 10pm CET / 11pm EET
- Asia/Oceania: 6am (Tue) JST / 5am (Tue) AWST / 8am (Tue) AEDT
What to Expect
The upcoming film will see the return of Chris Pratt (Mario), Anya Taylor-Joy (Peach), and Jack Black (Bowser). Joining the star-studded cast this time is Brie Larson, who steps into the role of Rosalina.
As for surprises? The internet is already buzzing. A recent leak suggested a major unannounced character might be making a cosmic cameo. We won’t spoil the surprise here, but if you want to risk a Warp Pipe into spoiler territory, click through to our related post.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie launches on 1st April 2026.
