Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Rated for Nintendo Switch 2 – A Native Port Is Coming
It looks like the Milano is getting ready for a landing on Nintendo Switch 2. According to fresh age ratings from both the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee and the ESRB, a native version of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is officially in the pipeline for Nintendo’s new hardware.
This is significant because the original 2021 release on the first Switch was a cloud-only version, which left many players frustrated by performance inconsistencies and streaming requirements. A native port would eliminate those issues entirely, offering a stable, offline experience.
The Taiwanese rating lists a PG-12 classification with Koch Media GmbH as the publisher, while the ESRB has also added Switch 2 to the game’s listed platforms. Neither Square Enix nor Nintendo have made an official announcement yet, but two separate rating board listings make an impending reveal all but inevitable. Given that Devil May Cry 5 also recently leaked for Switch 2 via Taiwan ratings, it seems third‑party publishers are quietly lining up their Switch 2 launch windows.
For those unfamiliar, the game puts you in the role of Star-Lord, leading the Guardians through a cosmic, third‑person action adventure filled with ’80s mixtapes, tough choices, and explosive setpieces.
