Heart Machine — the studio behind Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash — is bringing Possessor(s) to Nintendo Switch 2, and the wait isn’t long. The game launches on April 29, which is less than a week away.

Possessor(s) is a side-scrolling action-adventure that leans into Heart Machine’s signature style: sharp visuals, fluid movement, and combat with a lot going on beneath the surface. The studio has a strong track record of making games that feel great to play even when they’re being cryptic about their story, and Possessor(s) looks to continue that tradition.

There’s no excuse to sleep on this one. Heart Machine games tend to reward patience and attention, and Switch 2 seems like a great way to experience it — whether docked or handheld.
