Super Mario RPG — 44% off, now ~$34
The remake nobody expected to be this good. Super Mario RPG takes the SNES classic and freshens it up without losing what made it special — the humour, the timing-based combat, and that particular sense of charm Nintendo rarely lets loose anymore. If you missed it on release, this price is the nudge you needed.
Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition — Nintendo Switch 2 — $28 (was ~$60)
This one has been bouncing between $28–$30 on Amazon recently and it's worth grabbing if it's still sitting at that price. Outlaws is a scoundrel fantasy set between Empire and Jedi — open worlds, gang politics, speeder chases, and a lead character who actually feels lived-in. The Gold Edition includes the Season Pass, which makes the value here quite strong.
Yoshi's Crafted World — ~$52 (was $59.99)
This is the couch co-op pick of the week. Yoshi's Crafted World is one of Nintendo's most laid-back platformers — a gentle, creative adventure built out of cardboard and everyday objects, designed to be played alongside someone who maybe doesn't game much. It's also just really pretty.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door — $49 (was $59.99)
The fan-favourite Paper Mario game finally remade properly, and it delivers. The writing is sharp, the turn-based battles have real depth, and the partner system gives you reasons to actually think about who you bring into each fight. It's a long game for the price — probably 30+ hours if you're thorough.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom — $50 (was $59.99)
A Zelda game where you actually play as Zelda — and it earns it. Echoes of Wisdom lets you copy objects and enemies from the world and use them to solve puzzles, which sounds like a gimmick until you realise how deep the system goes. A surprisingly experimental game wearing a very familiar coat. ~Price — verify before posting.
